I am Monica Giocamea the Owner and Lead Planner at Best Day Ever Wedding & Event Planning, LLC.  I am certified through the Bridal Society, the nation’s leading wedding certification company. I have over fifteen years’ experience in customer service and business management within the Financial Services industry. This is where I gained my experience working with all types of personalities, project management, organizational skills, fundraising, planning corporate events and budget analysis.  In addition, I have experience with Event Management and worked for an historic Wedding and Event Venue.  While working there I met and developed relationships with the some of the top event professionals in upstate.

I have a passion and a love for weddings, enjoy helping others and enjoy being creative. I started my company in 2017 and being able to combine my passion, experience, and knowledge to help couples through their most important day is what dreams are made of.  Nothing brings me more joy than to see the bride and groom happy and relaxed on their special day.

I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona and have been in the upstate for over 30 years.  I am glad to call the upstate of South Carolina my home. I am happily married to my very supportive and loving husband, Mike. I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and having fun dancing and working out with Zumba and my girl tribe. I like romantic movies, The Hallmark Channel, a good cup of coffee and all things chocolate.
